Wyre Mark Installation

15th April 2015

When I received the Summons for Wyre Mark Installation, it took me seconds to free up my diary and to return the booking form with payment. Why so fast? Simple because Bob Boal, one of my regular reporters, our local publicity officer in the Fylde was Master Elect.

The switch is made!
It was a pleasant ride over to Fleetwood and what had been an overcast day in Leyland soon turned into a pleasantly warm and sunny afternoon once I was driving down the Esplanade.

A Grand turn-out
Well I must have been keen, when I arrived Jimmy Rogers was busy setting out the room and was the only other person there.
Not long afterward the members and their guests started to arrive and there was a sigh of relief when Bob himself appeared outside the Lodge Room Door.
Phew - glad that is over!
